Check out this cool gopro video of my bro & his friend out playing in the snow with their 180's last week in the Finger Lakes. The video was done by his friend in the red one, my bros' is the blue one.

Has he been able to land at his place on the west branch or just on the east near Penn Yan? The lake hasn't frozen this much in years. Only the southernmost 2 miles remains open.

Yep West Branch rarely freezes over,my nephews recently walked across the lake to their cousins. I've also got a great old photo somewhere of his plane on the ice in front of our cottage; this time on wheels not skis, but it's a taildragger with big bush tires.
