I purchased a 2000 Ski Nautique and did not get the owners manual. It has the Gt-40 and I am wondering what filter size it takes. There is a mercury marine filter on their now. Does anyone know what the Fram or Motorcraft part number is? And also what weight oil to use. I always ran 10w-30 in my old Nautique with the 351.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

See if the filter has a number on it, and get it crossed over to a motorcraft. I wouldn't use a fram.

jslow,
Welcome to the site. It's a great site, and you'll enjoy it. Now I'm going to direct you to another site. If you go over to planetnautique.com, click downloads from the menu on the left of the page, you'll find a 2000 owner's manual. I agree, don't use a Fram. BKH

Thanks, I found the inforamtion I needed!
I have another problem I hope someone can help me with. My 2000 has the keyless ignition. They don't have a code set-up in it. All I have to do is press start. For my peace of mind I would like a code. Does anyone know How to do this???

Contact CC for the code. There is a recent thread on this on the PN site.
