Does anyone know for certain if the cam in the H/M 210hp 2V is the same cam as the 235hp 4V or have the specs? I believe all of the other internal parts are the same. I'm kicking around an idea but my Mustang schedule has benn completely thrown off by another project that I hope to have finished in 3 months.

I would bet that theyre not the same, but thats just a guess. Carb+intake+cam *usually* make up the hp difference on 2bbl vs. 4bbl motors. If anyone knows for sure, its ReidP.

Parts book shows one cam with no part number,no major parts,crank,cam, block,rods,pistons,pan,oil pump have part numbers. Owners manual only shows cam specs for the 302 4v and 351 4v and they are both the same but under engine service and tuneup specs the firing order is old school both using different ones back then. Under complete engines there are a bunch- 289 2v 200hp'65-'68 which is mine, 289 4v 225hp '65-68, 302 2v 210hp '68-'70, 302 4v 235hp '68-'70, 302 4v 240hp '69, 351 2v 250hp '68-'70, 351 4v 290hp '68-'70, 302 4v 210hp '70-'71,351 4v 240hp,'70-71,302 4v 215hp '72-up, 351 4v 235hp '72-up. All 351's have a W after the displacement I guess to let you know it's a Windsor rather than a Cleveland.

Don't forget it was the 60's Tim- the decal was proof enough how much hp there was, slap on a carb and manifold and the appropriate decal and away marketing went
