I have a 97 Sport with the GT 40.
Went to start this year and while I have plenty of juice coming from the battery, I have nothing at the starter. All the gauges work when I turn it on. I can hear the fuel pump kick in when I turn the key but absolutely nothing from the starter. Where do I start?

I think I might have made something else up...forgot to prime the rotator splint...had a clogged elasticity valve...tried the lawnmower key on accident...

Inaught I think you are right. Should have come up with something better for sure. I probably deserve some sort of suspension from this site for as dumb as that was.

It's good you closed the loop on the thread, even if the answer was something silly.
Too often, people totally disappear after figuring out something for themselves. Then you never get to find out what the answer was.
