I have a 97 Sport with the GT 40. Went to start this year and while I have plenty of juice coming from the battery, I have nothing at the starter. All the gauges work when I turn it on. I can hear the fuel pump kick in when I turn the key but absolutely nothing from the starter. Inaught I think you are right. Should have come up with something better for sure.
