Looking at an 82 Nautique with trailer. Can anyone tell me what the towing wgt. Is for this boat. I had a 78 about 20yrs. ago I thought it was maybe 3500lbs.
Asking price is $3500, I was going to go for $2500. Engine needs manifolds, soft spot in front of the Ski pole. Interior showing age.

According to the 1982 brochure http://www.correctcraftfan.com/reference/1982_brochure/index.asp?page=09" rel="nofollow - here it is 2350 lbs. Add about 1000 for your trailer and yup, you're around 3500.
Are you familiar with what to inspect when you look at this boat - IE stringers?

I know of the stringer concern, is it mostly at engine motor mount points?
