I know its asking a lot since not many of these are around but i'm looking for a rudder for my 78'
I built one last year out of steel that worked great but it was a test. i wanted to reach out and see if i can pick up an original before i go ordering the stainless to build a permanent replacement.
open to suggestions.

I have one that came out of a Southwind and one that came out of a 1986 Marinique (also a deep v boat).

SW and Martinique both use the same 11a found on Ski Nautiques. No idea if the larger Fish uses the same. The 11a has a 1-1/4" shaft, so that would be one way to check.

Didn't Zach post a sheet a few years ago with struts shafts and rudders ? I'll see if I can find it

That list may be wrong because i just checked and my shaft dia. is 1.25 and that list says 23' fish as 1 1/8.
Either way if the rudder you have is the 1.25" shaft and the length from the top of the rudder to end of the shaft is around 6".
(when i got the boat it had the wrong rudder so i cant cross reference.)

The 1 1/8" would be the prop shaft column.

Looks like the 11a is going to be the correct rudder that it would have come with.
Are there any larger rudders that were available /interchangeable with the 11a?
