So, this is an Acme 1442 that was on my 91 Ski. Last weekend we were out taking a ride around the lake and hit something on the bottom while idling. After circling around and looking, it appears there was a pier footing or something on the bottom that was a round metal foot with about 8 or 10 inches of tube sticking out of it. We weren't in close to shore but this was a shallower spot of the lake.

As you can see, it sliced off a portion of one blade. The other two blades were untouched. I hear you can add material back to a blade, but do you think this one is able to be saved? I already have a new 1442 on the boat now, but I would like to have a spare in the garage.

Thanks!

Should be fixable. Send it to Delta propeller....site sponsor.
They fixed one of mine that was worse than that.

Wow I'd love to see that process. I wonder if they have any videos showing how they repair a damaged prop like that.
