hi all.
in the final stages of my boat refit and looking for advice on fitting the carpet.
in any boats i have seen and from memory when i took the original carpet out there was black plastic strips down each side of the boat floor keeping the carpet from lifting at the edges...
does anyone what these are, and where you might go to get them?
thanks
davy

What happened to your previous carpet trim? Scrub it clean a little and reuse. You glue it down and tuck the edge of the carpet in. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the trim and tuck. It is slow work, but not hard.
