The front passenger seat of our 94 SN needs new gas springs. The old ones are useless, and the wood pole I have been using is just inconvenient. Some other gas springs in the boat need replacing as well. The original pair was made by Spring Lift Corp (SL3-55) but it seems they only list automotive applications. Stabilus is another brand, but I need help matching the specs to the old pair.

What sources do CCF members use/recommend for finding the right replacement gas springs?

I'm sure Zach at N3 Boatworks can hook you up. Nautiquepart.com will have them too.

I got mine at NAPA. Same thing used on hatchbacks. You need to make sure you get the length adjusted the same so both are pushing out the same amount when the seat is at the highest point.
