Ordered a new 143 degree thermostat and gasket from SKIDIM and the choices for a 302 Ford were minimal. Figured I'd get the right one first time around and like many times before with this Interceptor motor I was wrong. I ordered part # 0703 (RP026002E) and the 0738 (RM003) gasket and both are a little too big. The CC forum also has a Ford service manual and parts list PDF's and all I see here is Ford calling it Thermostat 8575 and gasket 8255. This seen on page 1-21 here: http://www.correctcraftfan.com/Downloads/Ford_302351_Service_Manual.pdf The pic they show on the same page of the coolant outlet housing doesn't look anything like mine though, so these parts may be wrong.
