Would someone be available in the Lake Norman area in NC to be my eyes and nose on a "house boat" Im considering? I'm looking to see if it worth driving up there to look at it. It's at a marina on the lake, not certain where yet.

I'm sure someone in that area will chime in, but you're timing is great. Why not drive up in two weeks to check it out yourself and hit the Lake Norman Reunion?

Todd,
I can help you out with this task. I live in Denver, NC which is the West side of Lake Norman. Depending on the Marina, it is very likely that the restraining order has expired.
You can send me a PM or e-mail me at tilley166@bellsouth.net

The owner sent over a butt load of pics of the build. I didn't get a chance to look through them yet. The boats in Mooresville , I believe. A restraining order is pretty awesome I've only been asked not to return. Donald I'm pretty sure I'll take you up on your offer. Maybe boat over there this weekend? I'll touch basis with you before the weekend once I get my questions gathered & talk with the owner.
Murph, coming up in two weeks is a possibility as I need an excuse to get away bc the wifey offered to host a wedding shower, at our house, for my sister and the list has grown to 85 freaking people.

That's perfect. You can stop by DeLand and grab the T-14 hull for me. I'm sure Reid would mind if you left it around Mooresville until I can come grab it.

Andy, that would be perfect. The main problem is that right now there's no trailer with the boat, even though the lister says he could put one under it for $300. I have no idea how road worthy it would be. Can you PM me you phone number?

John I thought you might've given up on that boat? PM sent. Does anybody have an idea what it weighs?

John, I have a place you could temporarily store it near there if you need. Come to thin of it there is a couple empty trailers sitting there as well.
