Ever want a unique look for a component? One of the guys did this to his valve cover because, uh, well, because he could. I don't know how many here would be interested in wood grain engine parts but it may look right at home on an Atom or Hurricane. The valve cover here is reportedly going on an 80s Chrysler woodie. Hydrographics or immersion graphics is a pretty cool process. I would guess some of you are familiar (Alan comes to mind ) but it the first time I have seen it.

I water graphed a lot of things. Easy to do once you learn the dipping angle. Can save some big money if you have a basin big enough to house the objects. Never thought about doing engine parts...wonder what pattern I could use.
