I know I've posted about this before, but for you new guys... I have seen that camper before, probably came up on google or youtube when I was searching for this. Obviously the camper is much more sophisticated but its also a corportate effort and crazy expensive. The "Dobbertin Surface Orbiter" was literally built in a guys home garage in the same town as I lived in back in NY. I saw the original test voyage of it, got a couple pics of my own  The guys dream to circumnavigate the globe ended with a trip around the Carribbean and South America and a divorce. ------------- _____________ “So, how was your weekend?” “Well, let me see…sun burn, stiff neck, screwed up back, assorted aches and pains….yup, my weekend was great, thanks for asking.” |
