We had a sales meeting today up at a restaurant in Fontana, Wis. where they hold the annual antique boat show. This restaurant has a boat house theme, and have several classic wood ski's hanging on the walls. I saw this O'Brien Competition, and learned it has a bit of a history. Anybody seen one like this? It's one of two made by O'Brien. An aging magazine mogul may still have the other.

Alex, Would the answer be... "What does Hugh Hefners water ski look like"?

Steve....You are correct sir! You have won yourself 15 bonus points to spend anywhere you want. I will get them mailed out tomorrow. The story goes that O'Brien made two of these skis for the Lake Geneva Playboy Club way back in the day. They picked one, and another local ended up with the other one, and this is it. I bet the one Hef kept was a real beaut!
