What is this "snow" stuff you talk about? Why do you shovel it?

What is the temperature in FLA Gary? You dipping down into the low 70's down there? Rough boating weather!!

Up here in beautiful Cary/Algoniquin IL, we have snow flurries flying, and it feels a lot like a nice January day.

I have gotten an inch or two here or there over the past couple of weeks but nothing worth shoveling, at this moment it is dry out there where I live and work, One hour to the west of where I live, and 40 mins to the north of where I work snow is being measured in feet. It is all in how the wind blows here, as long as is coming from anything South of directly west I usually end up happy. Anything west, northwest, or north when there is no ice on the great lakes will wear out a shovel quickly.

It was 18'F down here in Hotlanta this morning. No snow to speak of but the idiotic McDonalds that I turn by on the corner haven't shut off their water sprinklers so I hit a patch of black ice this morning. I saw the 'wet' asphault ahead of time and figured I better slow down just in case...... Yep, did some drifting around the front of the store at 5am today.....Be Careful out there Y'all and stay warm!

Fly thru's don't count unless you're from across the pond...If you're staying a couple days then yes ....that's a foul!
