Dudes, we have a perfectly running mostly original PCM 1988 reverse rotation 454 coming up for sale.

The engine shows 983 original hours and runs like a champ. Great oil pressure, volts, and engine temperature. The only deviation from stock looks to be the advent of a new Mallory electronic dizzy. The engine comes without the transmission but fully assembled to run aside from that.

It pushed the barefooter 47.4 up river and 48.3 downriver with a 1598 prop.
Don't know if anyone is looking but getting some feelers out there early.

Below are photos and running video. You will have to turn the volume up pretty good to hear me. The case was on the go pro and I thought I was talking loud enough (apparently I wasn't ha).

(Fyi, there will be a fair amount of parts off this boat for sale. The current owner is taking a more modern approach for some things. All interior skins (which are still very nice will be available).

Zach,
Is the boat being repowered? I'm curious.

Zach is that a relatively straightforward conversion? Do you do anything different with the instrumentation?

PCM has a harness that plugs into the old 8 pin rectangle all of our boats use. From them they tell us you install the harness on the 409, plug it in, hook up fuel lines and battery cables, and turn the key. All gauges work as designed originally etc.

Are we talking shrimp cocktail with THE BEST cocktail sauce in the world!?

One of my goals this weekend, other than visiting my son's new digs (his girlfriends house), was to hit St. Elmo's. The only Saturday reservation was at 10:00pm (or 3:00 Sunday, but 4+ hours in a car, after the 22oz prime rib, is not good). Too late for enjoying that slab o' beef.
If it is not imposing, we would love to stop in and say hi. We will have toys in hand.

Thanks so much.

We should have the sauce. If we don't I will just slip over to Kroger and buy a few bottles

You won't be imposing at all that's why we party! Got a few footer roaming around and some in process restorations so there will be plenty to look at.
