...you need to move down here so I have someone to call on days like today that doesn't think I'm crazy. Air, 56, water 44, very doable. Pic taken about 20 minutes ago. I had actually tentatively put together plans yesterday to go today when I saw the forecast, but it was cloudy and breezy all day. Didn't lay down until just a bit ago and then it was too late to fuss with it. I'm ready, been about 6 weeks.

Screw that. I went out today because we almost had a break from our annual Feb-March winds with it sunny and in the 70's and Mrs. 76 hit a boat wake at mouth of canal and our '76 did the classic Ski Nautique nose dive and that 57* water came over me as I was sitting in the observer seat.... I told her to head back home, water was too cold for me.

Footed yesterday. 48 when I headed for Eddie's. 54 by the time we hit the water. I am a Florida wuss..used Eddie's dry-suit. Chilly on the hands & face at first but sunny & warmed up quick. Hit one LLBD..pretty cool I'd say...last day of January..64 years old & footing with just about the best partner a guy could imagine. I'll take it..

John, what's the water temp your way? Probably the same as us. I went to Performance yesterday and bought a wet suit top. Burrr, going back tomorrow to buy a full suit.

Just came inside from round 2 of shoveling. Hung out with quinner last night and he is ready for spring with a drysuit. We will play some pond hockey next weekend while we wait for spring thaw which should be here in around 6 weeks.
Larry, I'd be there in a heartbeat if it were a reasonable driving distance! Looks awesome, your place is high up on my visit list.

you won't be sorry. I have pictures of our visit before White lake 2 years ago. Me..the Lurker (Bill)..Gene Monahan & the Teen Idol had a great visit. But I will be darned if I can find the pictures on my computer or the thread where I posted them. Couldn't find them in the Bucket either so maybe they're gone...but it was big fun!
