I have long known what kind of great folks "hang out" on this site..... but the last few days have really served to prove it.

The amazing responses to one of our own's passing, show how much we mean to each other. It's neat to know our interaction means something to one another in this sad, fallen world.

Val and I spent the weekend in Baltimore (Dog Show) and I took the opportunity to crash JMurph's place. John, Jess and the kids were wonderful hosts. It couldn't have been a nicer evening - the full Maryland treatment: from Crab Cakes to Berger's Cookies. It was a terrific time together.

From skiing with CCFan buds, hanging out at reunions and even getting together for birthday celebrations, I am so fortunate (WE are so fortunate) to have friends across the country (and even across several ponds) to share our lives and friendships with!

Thanks Keith for this site, and thanks to all the CCFans that make it so special!

(yes, even my brother Donald too!)

One of the best examples Wayne, is Kapla's little Vera. That girl is in my heart since Kap told us of her birth. On FB, I always look for her pictures in his postings..... really wanna meet that kid one day! She has been in my prayers and heart since the beginning.

We know of Maddie, Grant, Natalie, Kristen, and many, many other of our kids...... We share in their triumphs and struggles. Why there's even beloved Boaty, Skipper, Tique and other popular pooches we love.

Great to have that kind of extended family that we share!

Crabs are steamed, not boiled. Just saying.

I'd be glad to ship you some crabs. I guess they would have to be steamed, then chilled and packed in one of those dry ice coolers? It would be easier to ship crab cakes, but it tends to be more in shipping than the cost of the crab cakes themselves.

Come on down to White Lake and I'll make a point to make it there and bring some crabs.

Thank goodness I made the cut !!!!! I just wish I made the Crab Cake Cut.

That is one beautiful dog. I hope JMurphy let that beauty queen sleep in the Master Bed Room.
