Don't think Tim will mind me posting this here, but I am sure he can use the prayer support right now.
Tim's father passed away today after battling Alzheimer's disease.
Hang in there brother!

Tim and I are about the same age. My Dad had surgery today...he did OK, but I know we are entering that season in life; our parents can't live forever. My heart goes out to you Tim.

The entire Deen clan is devastated. Deborah and Natalie both send there sympathies as do I. Keep in mind that it is part of the Master's plan and it will all be revealed to us later. Hang in there Pal.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes guys. Been dealing with Dads Dementia and Alzheimers for quite some time and on Dec 30th he fell at the assisted living home breaking his Femer just below the ball end. New hip on Jan 1 and 8 days in the hospital. Rolled over the foam wedge guard rails at the so called rehabilitation clinic dislocating the new hip. A couple days pass before they can get him back in the OR to remove the ball they just replaced. "Elvis had left the building" months ago so any Rehab wouldn't register anyway and he was gonna work to use the new hip so Mom made the decision to remove the ball..
He had so many bruises from all the poking and proding that he had to be hurting all over. Finally got him back to the home he started out in on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday night they gave dad a sleeping aide just before we went to "Bed". When they went to check on him yesterday morning around 7 he was gone.

We have been sorta preparing for his earthly departure for some time as we knew this day would come but we weren't quite expecting it this soon. We find comfort knowing that he is whole in mind and body once again and is now running round on his heavenly farm with his Dad whom he hasn't seen in 60 years. No doubt that his Father-in-law was awaiting his arrival with a golden fishing rod in his hand saying " It's about Damn time you got here....Lets go Walleye fishing!"

I appreciate the text messages and phone calls from those of you who have my # and then seeing the responses here continues to solidify the family that we have here. It means more than you know but then again.....y'all know!

Just a couple of pics of me and Dad. One from when I was about 3 and the other just a couple weeks ago. I owe so much to this man and for him to be the Dad he was without a role model of a father to follow, he did DAMN good job! I Love You Dad......God Speed!
