Just like the senior citizens who drive into Florida storefronts, maybe he got confused and pressed the wrong pedal..

Some dude did about the same thing in about an 01 Super Sport on a lake near mine a few years ago. He was 18 and had a 16 year old girl with him, anyone with half a brain could put 2 and 2 together he was showing off.
Anywho, the boat looked to be around 100 feet into the yard by the house and the kid explained to the police he was docking and the throttle stuck (Doubtful). To go that far that had to have been pinned.
The driver was fine but the 16 year old girl suffered head injuries that would never let her be normal again.
People are dumb.

My wife and I were down there when that happened. We were visiting friends in Sun City Center. Plans were to go to that restaurant Tuesday night. It happened Monday. When we called to see if they were still open, they told my buddy that they were closed until they were given the OK that the building was still structurally safe. It was so foggy during that time that a cruise ship was stuck in the gulf, because the Coast Guard would not allow it to pass under the Sunshine Skyway. 40mph in dense fog, and the dude was sober!

You are right, now that I think it had the newer graphics blue/silver cloud color but I don't remember a tower. Maybe he ripped it off

I lived in Tampa in 1980 when a freighter hit the original sunshine skyway bridge sending a bunch of cars and a greyhound bus plummeting 150 feet into the water below. They turned the other half into a two-way and you could see the mangled remains of the collapsed section as you passed by. Spooky

That's some skill squeezing in there where he only hit the walkway.
