I sent him an e mail yesterday. says they are ford but the Bolt flanges and ports don't look the same dimension ? Narrower ?? unless it's photo distortion ? "Interceptor" appears to span more of the exhaust ports than on the ones I have too ?? waiting for reply to E mail ? Thanks for looking out for me though !!

They look a little different than these which are on a Y Block, but is the bolt pattern the same?

The bolt pattern is not the same as ours above. If the ebay manifolds aren't for a SBF, what would they be?

Well..... depends on how you look at it ? We bought it in Michigan in 2010 and it was listed as a 1967 Mustang. The Michigan title had no actual HIN# only a Michigan re title # ?? apparently someone either salvaged it or lost the old Hull tag?? But as I looked around most of the 67 Mustang's had the molded in front Ventilator, So I looked all over for the Stringer tag, to no avail. We got the engine apart and learned that it was a 1965 260 ci. I know some of the marine engines sat around for a while, and that some of the boats from this era were listed by the year they sell and not by yr. of manufacture .. so all that being said.. I think it was a 1965 ish Mustang that is now a 1967 ish Mustang ?? Makes perfect sense right ? lol !! Anyway it has been a Great project for me and my (25 yo) son to restore. After his 1st season we decided that it was bleeding too much oil (rear main seal) so we decided to do a rebuild. we found a "wife beater" t shirt in the valley under the intake ?? And it Ran !! great !!

That's great
It's too bad you don't have that model number mime was registered thru the SS as a 69 but Art was able to find out through the archives that it was born on June 6 1967. Yesterday I went out and bought a new cherry picker pulling the engine this weekend.

If it's got a deck like ours, it's a 65 or early 66.

All,
Thanks again for all of the interest in my conundrum. So, new manifolds arrived on Tuesday. They "look" great. They are date stamped from 1963. They appear pretty much identical except for a few little diff's in the castings. But they'll work perfectly provided they don't have the same internal issues as our original set, which leads me to my Q ?
Riddle me this: How do we pressure test a manifold that doesn't have a riser to plate off and has a coolant input and co mingles the exhaust prior to the only other location to seal them off ?
Do I have to remove the rear elbow & fashion a cover plate & gasket seal that on the manifold log to test them ?
Looking forward to this discussion.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate it !

Yep but it ain't worth it to take them apart if you don't know they leak. I would put the exhaust end up and fill the water jackets to the top with water . Look inside the exhaust jacket real good for leaks if you don't see anything put me on and give me a shot.
