I have searched for days looking for the L shaped rear facing bench seat & I'm having no luck. I'm also in need of the back seats and driver seat.. I would be happy if I could just find the frames . I have a 1985 correct craft and y'all have no idea how much I would appreciate your help. My husband is leaving this up to me and apparently I've gotten no where, I've called several places but had no luck .. And he's given me a budget so I have to figure in having the upholstery done .. I know y'all know what y'all are doing and if I can't find what I'm looking for , all suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance ..

Christine's marine sells the frames. The seat isn't L-shaped, by the way. Check out the diaries and reference section for pics of original seats.

I honestly don't know the proper name for this seat but this is what I'm looking for.If any of you know the name maybe that would help.. I came to this forum because it was suggested by a retired mastercraft employee, and he said if these guys don't have it they can lead ya in the right direction. This is the bench seat that I was referring to as the L rear facing bench seat.

You're following the advice of a Mastercraft employee and posted a picture of a Mastercraft boat... Were you mistaken when you said you owned a '85 correct craft?

They are called observer seats and there are 2 types, standard and deluxe.

Standard:

and Deluxe:

I would assume if you describe it as L shaped you have a deluxe interior. This seat is made up of 5 different pieces, 2 separate wooden bases, a seat bottom and back and a side bolster.

I hope you budget is approaching 4 figures because if you need everything that's probably about what you need to get everything new. You will probably need to build the base yourself, or get one used from a parts boat. There may be some drawings of the base on the site somewhere.[

This is the pics of my boat and I can't thank you enough Marc C for going out of way to help me and being so kind to explain the seats to me.. It's so hard when your a new boat owner and you just don't know the proper terms, as a teenager we've always had boats and my dad had taught me a lot , I can fix things when it's not working right .. But I
Very grateful for men like you that are so willing to help .. Thanks again . And I do have the 4 digs because I knew this wasn't gonna be a cheap project .. Thanks again ..

Welcome to cc fan!   I just so happen to have a 1986 Ski Nautique with deluxe interior I am parting out. Do you need deluxe or standard interior seating frames?
