Over the winter I rebuilt the GT40 in my 1999 Ski Nautique. It runs great :-) The idle is a only around 630-650 and I would like to get it up a bit. When engaging the transmission the idle drops below a bit and the engine stumbles but keeps running. It is close but not quite right. Should I just adjust the throttle cable to engage a little earlier before the transmission kicks in? Also the throttle and trans cables are new. Is there even a away to adjust the idle or is that 100% computer controlled and the boring to .003 over is causing a slightly lower idle. I think it used to idle around 710.

There is a idle screw on the throttle body it may have a plastic cap over it.
