hey guys, I think i posted this topic in the wrong forum. Where the linkage goes into the transmission, There is a small leak. It seams like the only time it leaks is when the boat is in neutral and the shaft completly quits turning. Wondering if thier is a seal or O ring behind the stud that sticks out for linkage to mount on. Is this a major job? Thanks

O-ring. Its about as minor a job as you can get on that transmission. Check the manual as Rob suggests.

It's pretty easy. I did mine a couple of weeks ago. The instructions are on p.24. There's a spring loaded ball behind the lever plate so be careful.
Order this gasket from Skidim:

I matched up the o-ring at the auto parts store.
