Got a new boat today took it out and it ran fine for about 20 min then started to cut out at wide open throttle it finally shut off and it won't crank back up I can see gas spraying through the top of carb but will not fire. Has is squirting through the front two ports but the rear is dry.

The "cutting out" problem sounds similar to what my '94 was doing when the Pro-Tech ignition and ECM failed. I had fuel spraying from the injectors into the throttle-body but I was getting no spark. It would intermittently fire up, but the engine ran very poorly. When I removed the Pro-Tech equipment and went to old-school distributor, the engine fired right up and the cutting out problem is now gone.

Also, if you have a Holley 4160 marine carb, you won't see any fuel squirting into the secondaries, as the marine 4160 is not a double-pumper and the accelerator pump is only for the primary circuit.

I removed the spark plug and checked for fire I am getting fire but it will not say a word. Strong smell of gas from inside the boat.
