this is a memory refresher to all that has rebuilt there 351W. The valve lash caps or buttons that sit at the top of the stem. Do these go on the exhaust or the intake valves???

I don't remember, but they will only fit on either the exhaust or intake rods, not both. The valve stem ends are different diameters. Put the caps on whichever rods they fit on.

I seem to remember that they go on the exhaust valve stems. It was 2 years ago though that I disassembled mine and the new setup doesn't use them.
Either way the valve stems are machined differently to receive the stem caps so the correct way to assemble them should be obvious.
