Brian, The best to you, your future wife and that life both of you have ahead of you. I hope she's into boats as much as you are. Can she troubleshoot them as good as you do?

Well, first of all Brian, Congrats! 2nd, in hindsight, there are some knots that I wished I were aware of beforehand. Here's a short list:
Ashley's Stopper Knot Adjustable Grip Hitch Alternate Ring Hitch Beer Knot Double Sheet Bend Friendship Knot etc...etc...

I guess the cats out of the bag. By pure coincidence I happen to be working at the same company as a couple of Correctcraftfans. It was kind of like, wow! you work here?, good to see you. Wait, what the the what?! you work here too?! I'm still trying to figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing
Thanks guys. I think she likes boats, ahhh, I should probably mention the whole boat thing to her 😉 In truth, she's partially into it, but let's me pursue it on my own the other part, and I let her do her thing during that time. She does enjoy relaxing at the lake, so that's a good start. She chose to get married at a lake, so maybe it's a really good start.
I doubt I'll ever get her around to driving for skiing, but I'm lucky that I have a lot of relatives that go to the same lake I go to, and a few of them can fill in on that regard. She did help me with my steering cable replacement anyway, so that's something for sure.
We got married on Senenca Lake, one of the finger lakes in NY. It's surrounded by wineries (yes, many with docks). It actually looks like a really good locale for a potential CCF reunion. Good lodging and night life, not a crazy amount of boat traffic that I saw. Very long (30ish miles) but skinny lake and also deep in a valley so very well sheltered. The ideal of bringing my boat certainly crossed into my little brain, but didn't want to distract front the occasion. I certainly hope to in the future though.
Here are a couple of photos, I'll bring in my full iPad photo collection for my, ahh err, Correct-olleagues I can post more as they become available.

Glad to see you can occasionally have an extra set of helping hands. Mine held up the fuel line when I replaced the fuel pump. Yelled at me when I tried starting the little Yamaha outboard in the living room. So I basically have a supervisor that ensures that I don't hurt myself and have to make a trip to the emergency room.
The real test, I think, is the pull over on the side of the road to look at a boat/car for sale test. I used to get the "Sigh" then the speech "Why are you stopping? You know you aren't going to buy it"
The Finger Lakes are beautiful, years ago I went on their annual Christmas wine tour event. (I think I mentioned this to you at the boat show).
Congrats again. Hope to meet her this summer.
