Being brand new to the forum, forgive me if this is an oft repeated topic, or feel free to direct me to past discussions. Have a 2006 SN 196 that is pretty hard to steer at idle speed. Replaced cable last summer, as well as greased the rudder. Seems to be getting worse with use. What is left except the steering wheel assembly, and what must be done there? Many Thanks,

Lowell,
Welcome to CCfan. Pictures as well as a diary entry would be great.

Disconnect the cable at the tiller arm so you can isolate the potential stiffness. IE: rudder and port or cable.
