Last night, as part of Father's Day, I told my dad (and mom) they will be first time grandparents (if the next 1.5 trimesters go well). Me being the youngest (and old) they thought this day would never come.

Then it's ski, work on the boat and maybe do a cruise with dad.

Minnesota weather was sunny and 80s today. Little wind. We had planned this morning to tune up the boat as it has been starting hard and running rough. This was a good plan as it would not start this morning. Dwell was 34. And timing was advanced 15 degrees at idle. Brought both into spec and it is running great. Had a nice outing on lake Minnetonka. Found a quite bay for watersports. Not a bad fathersday.

For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.
