I just replace cuttless bearing installed a doubletaper shaft while I am at it I should ck the alighment to the shaft . What I got was .011 lowest read and .014 highest read on my gauges . I have heard though video on Cc fan sites it needs to be. 003 of and inch variance to have proper alighment . I believe or hope that I am right . I did ck top to bottom and side to side bottom was the hardest the get . Also with the new shaft was not able to get safety ring on doubletaper shaft I don't believe it as nessary the old shaft was press on by factory my why new shaft has locking nut attached to the shaft holding the coupling . Thanks Steve

Steve,
Since yo got .011 and .014, that's the .003 max so you're good.
