I need new manifolds and risers. In process of rebuilding engine and would like to change to Heat Exchanger.   Have any of you done this and if so what manifolds and risers did you go with

boat is an 83
351w engine.

Steve,
It's more common to only fresh water cool the engine and not the manifolds so the type isn't important. Even if you included the manifolds, any style will work. However, the tube in shell heat exchanger get's pretty big with the manifolds on the system. You may not have the room under the dog house.
