This http://qctimes.com/news/local/q-c-man-apparently-electrocuted-after-grabbing-dock-ladder/article_13832708-19bc-11e5-935a-ab8c2d3ed4cf.html" rel="nofollow - article was in my hometown paper and I was doing a search to see if more info had been released and found http://articles.ky3.com/2012-07-09/private-docks_32606635" rel="nofollow - this . Both articles happened at the same area in the Lake of the Ozarks. Throwing out a word of caution with the upcoming holiday to be careful with electricity dockside.

The key words:" it's often not professionally wired." Sorry to hear about the loss but, sounds like another backyard hack job!

i whole heartedly agree Pete. The second article from 2012 had a video on a different site and that is exactly what the Officer said what happened. The dock was privately owned and the owner incorrectly wired it.
