| what kind of coil do you guys recommend using? I have a 78 ski nautique with 351w and need to replace the coil, just looking for options. thanks |

| Depends on if you are running through the ballast resistor or not. |

yes it currently has one but depending on what coil I go with should determine weather or not I need it or not correct? I ran it without the resistor and it started to overheat the coil, with the resistor it seemed to not get enough fire. currently has a MSD blaster 2 coil |

had very poor throttle response. it would die when trying to pull a skier up, once I did away with the resistor it seemed to do a lot better |
