I managed to rupture the same ear drum twice over 2 years practicing with my water ski show team. As a result I'm now the boat driver and only foot with my hands firmly wrapped around the boom.   Also thanks to pizza and beer I've since "outgrown" my old jumpsuit and I'm looking for something (anything) to get me back on the water.   I'll probably only use it 5-10 times a season with no deep-ups so if it's in rough shape I may still be interested.
