I have a 86 2001 and was wondering if I can pull 2 tubes with the ski pole or is it too much weight?

Hmmm. Looks like about a six line spread run close; Meat with skirts on the far riggers. Green machines or just more skirts running baited on the inside riggers and a couple of small pink flat faced plugs flat lined and naked just at the back of the prop wash. Thinking about 7 kt. East to West.

Ski pylons in Correct Crafts are rated for zero tubes. Sorry, maybe you should buy a Bayliner.

Yep, says so right on the pylon warning sticker. Maybe the one on your boat is missing.

That sticker is pretty amusing. I've never seen that before. I would stick one of those on my pylon

Sorry to hear you bought the wrong boat. Maybe you could learn how to ski or board? How are the stringers? If good, it would be easier to flip the boat.

It was so perfect of a hot button first post I assumed it was a bored member troll thread. sorry.

So, welcome to CCF and lets see some pics of that boat! You gotta know that peeps around here run world class competition ski boats. Tubing is a sore subject for a multitude of reasons. In fact the only thing worse in my riding lane than a couple jet skis is a tuber doing figure eights right in the butter runs.
So that said, there is no real tow point on your boat designed for pulling a tube. When I rebuilt my boat I removed the lifting eyes and actually installed a tow ring on the transom that is bolted to a 12" square of Ipe'. I could pull anything I want with this but have yet to pull a tube.
My kids all started skiing or wake boarding at around 5 years old. Tubing takes as much skill as watching cartoons so it is not really encouraged. Can it be fun? You bethca! My buddy has one of those tubes that gets airborne and the kids love it in moderation but riding and skiing is where its at. All three have their own crew. Even my 9 y/o daughter has a crew, three little 8-10 yo girls who all ski and board.
Kid trainers or a knee board can be had off CL and garage sales for super cheep. Go getcha some and put the tube in the pool with a cup holder where it belongs.

Remember to post some pics of your new boat.. please.
John
