Gents, While I can link a youtube vid, how do I embed it, so that ya'll can just play it in the post vs following the link? And I tried F12....no luck ------------- 1994 Sport Nautique |

OK Here goes: Begin by finding the YouTube video you wish to post and copy the address:  In the reply box click the angled arrow icon in the top right:  Next click the tree icon that says "Insert Image" when you mouse over it:  Paste the YouTube address in the pop up box:  Change the beginning and ending "IMG" with "Tube"   If there is an "s" after the "http" in the address, you'll need to remove it:  Final link should look like this:  Hope this helps. That is my most favorite video ever!!!!! we sing it all the time at home. I even did a parody (in the lost archives now) while at work. I would just include, at the bottom of the post window, there is a link to the BBcodes that will give you a popup with all the codes the forum can use. so you can change to red fonts or you can change the size. this is especially helpful to use an image that you have in your file manager instead of uploading another one again. <the bracketed img tag>uploads/youservernumber/diary_id_location.png<closed img tag>

oh, sorry, forgot to mention...your server number is different than your diary ID. My pic above shows a diary id. To find your server number, if you have uploaded a picture in the past, go and edit that post to see the coding, then look within the image tag you will see your number (mine happens to be a 5 digit number, uploads/15xxx/imagefilename)  I usually just type the tags, takes less time and you don't have to expand the quick post. |
