No clue on where to find an OMC wiring diagram, but usually marine wire color coding is the same for all engines. What are the colors (and aproximate size) of the 4 wires you have left to connect? Also, what are their general locations? Maybe we can help.

My motor was taken apart and rebuilt by someone and I did'nt take a picture or label the wires from the coil to the ballist resistor blck and when I wired it up it was wired wrong and I fried the resistor. I am trying to find someone who would know the correct order for the 4 wires from the coil to the blk?

theres a wiring diagram in the service manual in the refernce section here, hit the link on top of the page that says reference.

there are two purple wires that go to the ballast resitor and the postive side of the coil, and a gray wire that goes to the neg side of the coil. there's only one heavy gauge wire by the wiring harness connector on the rear corner of the engine that is grounded to the block, beside the neg bat cable. You will also have two wires or one if points from the dist to the coil.

Ok
I have one purple wire with a black stripe, and a black and white wire together. which would be positive and which is negative?
And also two wires from the distributor which I think red is positive and black neg right?
