I tore up both my speedo tubes(don't ask how), and was wondering if anyone had any experience in replacing them. I have an 84' 2001. How difficult is it? Any info would be great.

Thanks
Vic

not very diffucult, just purchase some new tubes, cut 'em to length & connect them up again, very painless...

Nate,

I followed the tubes and they went behind the gas tank. Do I have to remove the Gas tank? Where do the tubes go to, because I can not see whats behind the tank with out removing it.

Thanks
Vic

there should be enough room to the side of the tank to see what you need to. They go to the blance tubes that are mounted to the transom in the inside of the boat vertically and to the outter edges of the tank and attach to the bottom them there is another tube attached to the top that goes along the passenger side of the gunnel.
