the warning light above the starter combination pad keeps blinking and beeping. says don't operate over 1200 RPM. i topped of engine oil (10w40), v-drive fluid (30 weight), and transmission fluid was fine....why would i be getting the warning that wont stop???

Someone mentioned replacing the replacing the Pressure sensor with a 4psi hobbs switch available at NAPA. NAPA asked if the pressure sensor is "normally closed" or "normally open"...I believe the engine is the PCM 350...any advise? thoughts?

does it stay on OVER 1200 RPM's? I believe the warning says something like "don't operate if light stays on above 1200RPM's"...the sensor is checking for oil in the V-drive...if it goes off OVER 1200RPM's, you have no issue...

As far as I can tell, I'm not quite sure...

And if you have an Excalibur GM350 (330hp with silver shroud), check your manual, you should likely be running 15W-40 oil, if it is a Ford 351 GT-40 then an entirely different oil.
