We have this one out of a '74 Skier. It is in good condition. The ring and finger have very good chrome. $250 plus shipping. It is a straight pylon and not curved.

pylons changed quite significantly in the mid 70s, also varied from model to model. you might want to be specific about what boat you're trying to fit it in.

TimB or any other Mustang people know if this is the correct pylon for a '72 Mustang?

The mustang pylon is slanted back a little.

It probably won't play nicely with the bench seat but otherwise it would install in place. It's not quite the original style, that smaller diameter aluminum and later ring/finger was used '73-75. The earlier pylons were steel with a different ring/finger style.

We've got another from a 68 or 69. Were they still using those in 72? It is a steel pylon.

The 68-70 pylons were nearly the same as the 71-72 version... Difference being the bend (68-70 is straight).

This is what a 72 Mustang that I am about to restore has in it. I have never seen one like this one.
