Hi guys,

I´m looking for gas shocks for my 196. I´m going to replace all of them since they dont work very well.

I live in Sweden so the season here isnt that long, so I have my boat in storage at the moment. I dont live by the lake or the winter storage garage so I thought it was easier to check here first.

Since Nautique parts are kinda hard to come by here I need to order from the US. Can anyone help me what lengths/sizes I need on the shocks for:

-The glovebox
-The observerseat
-The enginebox
-The rear compartment

Hope you guys understand my English.

/Jake

Jake,
Your English is fine. No problem with understanding what you are looking for.

I replaced the shocks on my passenger seat. Got them from NAPA, auto parts. Same shocks that were on the boat. When there is a pair of shocks, it's critical to get them adjusted the same length, or one shock is doing all the work. You should be able to find them on ebay or something if you can't get them local.
