I have a glove box (Is that what you call it on a boat?) for a 1975 Mustang 17. Very good condition. Still has the vinyl wood grain on the mounting board. This does not fit in with what I have done with the boat interior. If you are looking for a restoration part, this is a good one. Free if you pay for shipping it.

I am a new user, so please forgive any flaws in this posting. I am trying to figure out how to attach a picture.

It does not look like the one pictured. It is black plastic mounted to a plywood board that mounts up behind the dash, and supports the box below the dash. The plywood has vinyl wood grain on it. I have not found how to post a picture yet.

OK. Probably the same box, but mine does not have the vinyl on the box. Only the plywood. Maybe it came off. The finish is mottled black plastic like the dashboard parts from older cars. Mine has the button and latch that work.

Paul,
I too would like to welcome you to the CCfan family. It's always great to add another cc owner/enthusiast,

After market boxes were purchased by CC and then offered as an option on many models. Through the years, I've seen them black plastic with or without the woodgrain vinyl as well as aluminum fronts. In many cases, the install under the dash on the plywood was done by the dealer. I did several of them way back!

Yes, we'd love pictures to see what your Mustang 17 project is all about. A entry in the diaries with pictures and text is always welcome too.

OK here it is. I am not sure if I still have the key, though.

This is the boat before fitting the interior. I wanted to work out mechanical and electrical bugs before I got too far. I won't take up anymore space here, but I will put up some items in the other area. Thanks for the help on getting started here.

Don't worry about the space. We'd love more pictures. Start a complete thread.
