I just want to make sure that the threaded gas line fittings at the fuel pump, filter and fuel rail do not need a sealant such as Permatex Aviation No. 3. Looking on line it appears some people do add the permatex to the threads if the connections. I do not think it required, but do not want to take any chances.
Thanks Tom

If double flared, NO. The threads are not the seal and may prevent the fitting from fully seating.

Tom, Tim is correct on no sealant on the actual flare fitting but, it won't hurt on the actual pipe threads say on the other end of a flare adaptor.
