David,
What engine do you have? It makes a difference as to which cover CC used.

Not in 1970 it doesn't. The flat top box they started using late '69/70 fits over all small blocks.

Your concern would only apply to the curvier glass vs wood boxes utilized over different small blocks through '69.

I have a Chrysler 318. The cover I have now is made from wood. I was under the impression someone made it. I was hoping to get a OEM fiberglass one.

Tim,
I know of two 70 Cuda's up here with Chryslers and they have the wood dog houses. Never underestimate the inconsistencies of CC!!    My 70 Cuda with the H/M, had the flat top glass.

Wow....I know the one I have is heavy. I have seen a few 1969/1970 ads showing the fiberglass one.....it look more classy than the bulky one I have.

I have never seen a wood box in a '70 but you're right- cc could have snuck some in there. Regardless, my previous assertion stands- it doesn't matter which engine he has as any '70 box will fit over any small block. The narrower curvy glass ones definitely didn't make it past '69. I have a flat top glass box on my '70 Stang, FYI. That's been the norm from what I can tell.

I definitely like the narrower curvy glass ones.

Those will not fit over the wide LA/LM chryslers (273/318/340). They were also not offered in 1970.

David,
This is what I believe you have. It's a wood and stated as a 1970 Cuda. Why do you want to get rid of it? The wood one is original plus as Tim states the "curvy" glass dog house won't fit! Have you posted any pictures of the boat yet? If not, we love them. How about a diary entry too?

I have one that came off of a 70 Cuda. It would need recovered. I have it down at our farm in central IL. Next time I go down i could get some photos of it if you would like.

Brian,
The wood or glass? I ask because CC upholstered some of the flat top glass dog houses.
