Good morning, I need to switch the tires on my trailer from the bias plies it has over to radials. The current size is 205/75d14. What is the best tire in this size for the price? I do a few 300 mile trips each year and the old tires are questionable. My barefoot nautique has the original Correct Craft two axle trailer but I have considered removing the front or rear axle if I can find tires with the correct weight rating to run a single axle. You'd be better off trading someone for a single axle. Your weight distribution will be way off removing one or the other. The posted tire size is appropriate for that setup. I'd get C load range tires on the tandem, Ds on a single. |

If you're gonna go from a double axle to a single, you'll need to put an higher load rated single axle under there. Simply removing one existing axle, isn't going to cut it. ------------- '92 Correctcraft Ski Nautique |
