In my 2004 Nautique ss210. I hit a wake. All my gauges went out. Speed, fuel, oil, temperature etc. Is there one common electrical feed that would make all gauges go out? Speed and fuel when they came back all the readings were wrong. Why?

What trim level is the boat? If limited or team check the Faria gateway box, connections may have shaken loose. Should be a diagram on the box itself and most connectors are a unique shape so they can only go where they belong

LOL, here we go again, I asked "trim level" not which model. Lets try it another way, do you have a key or a keypad to start the motor??

OK, you have either a limited or team edition and digital gauges. Below is a pic of a gateway box, yours will also have connections for the pitot lines. Not 100% positive where the gateway is located on your boat, most likely in the rear/trunk area or up under the dash somewhere, trace the pitot lines from your pickups and that should lead you right to the gateway. Make sure all the plugs are securely plugged in. If that is not it check all your breakers to make sure none are popped especially the one tagged "unlock" if you have that one.

Checked all connections they are secure. No breakers tripped. Now the boat won't start. Turns over but won't start. Checked wiring around safety cut off and dash. All seem fine.

The Gateway feeds all the gauges, are you saying no gauges work or only some of them work?? Take the Gateway out and open it up, is there water/moisture inside the box or on the circuit board??

Non start now seams totally random, did you knock something loose while working on the gateway.

You posted something not too long ago about issues with your ECM, was that done and if so how long ago??

Replaced ECM. Ran great yesterday when the gauges went out. No knocking loose I tryed starting it before I checked gateway. It is random. Makes no sense.

Don't think it sank. I bought in 2010. Don't know how it was cared for before then.

Started with one gauge. Oil pressure. Then all analog gauges were not working or working with wrong read out. Example fuel gauge read half a tank but I just filled up. Ok I'll try gateway for water. I've read that was a problem with Faria gauges and gateway box. What a pain.

When I had a gateway go bad boat still ran but gauges where whacky/not working and alarm was going off. As far as a bad gateway keeping the boat from running, I would think not, putting it in limp mode, yes.

Gateways are not necessarily a known problem, finding a replacement however is a problem as they are no longer available.

Open the box up and post some pictures here.

Unplugged coil and stuff cleaned connects and put back together. Boat ran. About an 1/2 hour later sputtered and died. Gauges worked except oil pressure and fuel gauge reads wrong. Just want it running.

Did you bother to try to run it before doing that stuff? ^^

It would be super helpful to get some diagnosis when it dies like that... fuel vs ignition...

Yes I tried to start it to no avail. Then worked on connectors. The sputter before dying makes me think electrical. Maybe coil...because it did not have a spark. Same as before they changed ECM. I'm on a mountain lake in the middle of the national forest so not many options.
