A Jerky Mcjerk face mouse ate a 4" by 2" hole in one of my bow riding cushions over the winter. Is there a good home patch method I can do without removing the cushion? I'm not looking for perfect it's just that I don't want to remove it and have the cushion at a shop during prime season. I more worried that the hole is so big that the foam get's wet. The hole is about the size of an iphone so water can really get in there.

I have several ruined covers thanks to those mice. I feel your pain. No good suggestions though...

I think I might catch a field mouse and hang it's dead body on my dock just as a warning to the others. They went too far.

BB, you'd better make sure the mouse is gone. I had a 3" hole eaten out of my bench seat 2 weeks ago and I found a nest on top of my gas tank when I pulled everything out. I set a trap and caught the little ba$tard that night. I ordered the smallest size vinyl I could from Nautique Parts. The hole was only on the grey stripe, so my stitched patch shouldn't look too horrible I hope. I've started leaving a trap on my boat just in case. That mouse picked an expensive hobby.

OOF. that is a bummer. I had a problem with mice getting into my toolbox at work I soaked a few cloths with peppermint extract onto some rags and shoved them in the bottom of the box and i never had an issue again.
I haven't had a problem with mice or thought of them getting into my boat during winter months but i guess its not out of the question. I'll be purchasing some more stock in peppermint extract come shrink wrap season after reading this

I had a really good interior guy in the Sacramento area that could fix jobs like this quickly and his work always made us happy. Unfortunately he became ill and closed, I have been looking for someone like him ever since. Maybe someone in your area knows a good repair person for interior work.

If I just do a seasonal patch I don't want to purchase a full square yard when I only need a few inches. Anyone have a piece of the "white" (it's called silver white or something I think) from '97? I just need like a 10" by 6" piece. Thanks

I wanted to stay one step above that lazy. It should look like I tried but wasn't going to waste a whole day I could have been on the boat to fix it.
