99 sport nautique boat runs good but inconsistently stumbles at higher sppeds it usually stumble but take off again. At idle speeds it just dies and have to wait a few minutes it will restart. Sometimes it stumbles 10 times in 10 minutes but some days it never does it. It runs at 160 with good volts. It does it either hot or cold. Put a new ignition module on today did not help. Any ideas?

Skim through Brian's poormans GT-40 thread and find the posts that best fit your situation, I believe there was at least one that was very similar and it ended up being the distributor pickup
Rebuilt distributors are cheap for these and are no different then the auto distributors.

Have you tried new Relays on back of engine towards the top maybe? Had a 96 with similar symptoms. Changed them with OEM ,not auto zone, and it fixed my issue..

I read through that see a couple items I'm trying...the one I saw that fit it the best was a ignition module, I had already tried that last weekend and did not change anything

Ok so fuel pressure is 38-40 key on and 34 running with new relays. It seemed to be about 4 pounds less with old relays. Have not drove it yet with guage on it, hopefully in a couple days. Hows the pressure sound?
