I have a 1986 ski natique with a 351 PCM. After warm up, at idle, the "idiot light" for oil comes on although the gauge still reads 10 psi @ 600 rpm's. Am using 10w30 and have replaced the sending unit with a marine grade. Engine has low hours and does not use oil. Motor runs great. Anybody ever seen this? Have been told there is no problem, but it is driving me crazy..

If I put 10w-30in my boat this would happen to me. I don't use variable viscosity oil in my boat. I use a straight 40w. If you like the 30w just try a straight 30w. 10psi @ idol seems kinda low.
