I have looked and looked and looked here and Google and I can not find out where the fuel filter is on 1995 Super Sport with a GT40. This is the pre FCC engine. Does it have a separate filter and water/fuel separator? Thanks in advance!!

Lots of good 95 GT40 info in this thread. Why do you need to find this filter anyway? http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=39174&title=1995-gt40-fuel-pump-fcc-conversion" rel="nofollow - http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=39174&title=1995-gt40-fuel-pump-fcc-conversion

Under full throttle the boat will only run up to 3000 RPM's then back down to 2000 RPM's. Fuel pressure is good, so not sure if it is going into SLOW mode or if I am having fuel delivery issues....

You have to pull up the floor, you cant miss this stuff if yours is in place. Left side hose coming off the tank is the feed. Anti syphon valve is right where the hose clamp contacts. Fuel filter is in the same hose about 2 1/2 feet back, you can just barely see it. See the aluminum angle with the stud next to the v drive? See where the red cable disappears right to the back of that above bracket? The filter is right there.

Thanks for the picture.... I did have the floor out and located both of them... Not sure if you need Stretch Armstrong arms for that fuel filter or what.... One final question, does a non-FCC GT40 have a fuel water separator anywhere?

None that I have heard of but there is another "screen" that I have only seen in pictures on the 'net. It is in the low pressure pump, remove it from it's bracket, remove the top mounting screws and the top plate comes off. Under there is something. How many hours on your boat? Has the low pressure pump ever been replaced?

The boat has just under 500 hours... Yep the LP pump has been replaced. Honestly it seems like it is kicking into SLOW mode to me. It revs to about 3000 RPM's and the right back down to 2000. This is even under full throttle...

Slow mode is easy to diagnose. I believe it's based on 2 or 3 sensors. Disconnect the sensors and it won't go into slow mode. I know two of those are temp and oil pressure. So if those are both good on your gauges then it probably the sensor.
